Viewing your sales by month can help you identify trends in sales data, enabling you to create effective time based marketing campaigns.
What you need:
You’ll need a way to run SQL on your database.
Ask your developer for a read-only connection string to your database. There are many programs that allow you to run SQL on a database such as HelloQuery, TablePlus, etc.

A sales table with a date of sale (sales_date) and amount of sale (sales_amount)
Not sure if you have that? You can use HelloQuery or another AI enabled tool to examine your schema.
